What was once was a sleepy little fishing village has become one of the most popular and enjoyable places to visit in all of South East Asia, with an incredible number of exciting things to do in Hua Hin. This was originally due to the almost magical, pervasive feeling of relaxation and serenity that seems to come up from the gentle waves and cover the area. This is what first attracted Thai royalty to build palaces here, and later the wealthy who also built their charming colonial style mansions, particularly since how to get from Hua Hin to Bangkok and back is quite easy.

As the town grew in popularity, so did the number of interesting things to do here. Now a world of things to do in Hua Hin await you. You can find some great golf courses, if the gentleman’s game is your sport. A couple of night markets are great for handicrafts and local food, though high-end shopping is also available. Among the Hua Hin tourist attractions, we have water parks, mysterious and beautiful caves, and even a royal palace, all in the places to visit in Hua Hin.

And the most wonderful thing about it is they are all located around the hotel, V Villas Hua Hin, MGallery Hotel Collection.

Hua Hin is located a distance of only 220 km southward from Bangkok. One of the eight districts of Prachuab Khiri Khan Province, is rests on the shore of the Gulf of Thailand on the upper end of the long Malay Peninsula. The weather is generally pleasant all year long, though it tends to heat up and April to June, though the heat is tempered by the refreshing sea breeze.  Hua Hin also experiences regular evening rains for a few months after that, similar to most places in Thailand. On the whole, you will find a trip here comfortable throughout the year, always with lots of things to do in Hua Hin.

And because of the short distance from the capital of Thailand how to get to Hua Hin from Bangkok is convenient and quick. This is especially true if you are coming from Suvarnabhumi airport to Hua Hin.

A private car is probably the easiest way, and the trip takes only a little more than three hours. If you are staying in a luxurious resort such as V Villas Hua Hin, you might wish to take advantage of their airport transfer service from Suvarnabhumi airport to Hua Hin, or back again when you leave.

A laid-back scenic trip is possible if you like to take your time by boarding a train at Bangkok’s Thonburi Railway Station on your way to the things to do in Hua Hin. This station is located on the west side of the capital’s Chao Phraya River, and will give you a chance to enjoy the romance of a train ride through the fascinating scenery of southern Thailand.

A bit more rapid trip than the train is taking a bus, or even a fast-paced minibus, out of Bangkok’s Southern Terminal on your way to places to visit in Hua Hin. This is quite a long taxi ride from the city center, or further if your route takes you from Suvarnabhumi airport to Hua Hin, so a ride via the BTS Skytrain to the Bang Wa Station, and then a taxi after that, may be worth your while.
